Relief printmaking can be done with wood, Rubber or even recycled Styrofoam. You can use any type of sharp knife or carving tool to make a mark on the surface. Then the surface is inked up and printed. Leaving an impression of your design.
Materials & Tools Provided
Materials are included in the workshops. Sewing class you may need to bring your own fabric if you are looking to construct something other than wall hanging. Bring your sewing machine if you have one.
Skill Level Required
These workshops are designed for adults. You don’t need any previous skills, only a willingness to learn.
Best Scheduled
Printmaking can be done anytime of the year. papermaking is a great warm weather art form. Papermaking requires lots of water and is a fun summer workshop.
