Nature works explore plants to uncover their full potential. Nature works teach how to grow the plants and best harvesting practices. Each program focuses on one plant. You get a starter plant and directions on growing it. The program fully discusses what the possibilities are to eat and drink it as well as how to use it topically. You get recipes and direction on how to incorporate the plant into your everyday life. The highly anticipated part of the programs is tasting and drinking. You will taste Kombuchas, teas, tinctures, meads, flavored vodka, salad dressings and more.
Once you start exploring the benefits of plants that simply grow around us, on the side of the road and the cracks of sidewalks you will see that the universe not only challenges us but also gives us the answers. Nature Works helps you awaken to the beauty of life.
Move past the idea of having a garden and see the possibilities of creating an environment that promotes your wellness both physically and mentally. Nature works help you see how to create an edible yard or forest. Instead grow mint, clover and dandelions, instead of grass. You and your yard will live in harmony with the planet. Your life will change from how to get rid of a plant to how to use it. Plants and humans can live in harmony. Stop fighting nature and see how everything was designed to work together.
Classes are designed to. Get students excited about seeing nature as a foundation for wellness. You will leave with a good understanding of the featured plant , along with book of recipes and a plant.
Deborah’s place is tucked next to Sweetwater Creek State park. She is surrounded by nature and everything she creates is inspired by her surroundings. You will want to return and visit throughout the year to experience the seasonal harvest and art. Deborah loves share her passion for nature. Turmeric - Learn about Turmeric (Nature's Gold for health) and how to incorporate it into your everyday life. See it harvested and learn how to grow it yourself. Deborah is a full time artist who makes everything by hand and makes everything seem possible. You will taste Turmeric beer, Kombucha, and tea. You can try soap, facial cream and much more. When you are done with Turmeric class you can explore the gardens, woodshop, art studio and gallery. Deborah's energy is contagious. You will feel empowered and know that you meet your lifelong muse.
